Baby swing assembly

The swing can be installed on a concrete ceiling or a wooden beam (see Swing Hooks under Accessories). A swing hook is available for both types of ceiling. In good weather, the swing can also be used outdoors and easily installed on a tree branch. In this case, no additional equipment is needed: simply throw the rope over the branch and secure it with the carabiner attached to the end of the rope. The baby swing cannot be installed on a plasterboard ceiling.

Once babies become accustomed to the swing, they are happy to fall asleep in it, as they gradually relax and drift off while being rocked, swung, and gently bounced. If you would like to put your baby to sleep in the swing, place them in it when they are preferably sleepy and have a full tummy. Slowly begin rocking and bouncing them until your baby gradually relaxes. You will notice this when their tightly clenched fists open, they begin blinking slowly, and they gently fall asleep as a result of the soft rocking motion. Putting your baby to sleep in the baby swing can greatly help you understand their sleep cycles (the deep sleep phase) and can also strengthen the otherwise close mother-child bond. This is especially true when the swing is used not only for naps but also for playful time together (singing and reciting nursery rhymes).
